Gransfors Double Bit

If you would like an update, Adventure Sworn is borrowing the axe, I also got to use it. Its swings very nice, and very accurate. Handle is a little thick though. The stamps are nice on this one.

I really enjoy your vids on Youtube. I've been watching them trying to decide which one would suit me best for a packable axe.

Packable is really a personal choice. It all depends on what you are willing to pack out. I wont go any longer than a 32" and around 5lbs or so is my limit. Winter time sees a bigger axe, summer obviously the smaller.

Ok. I take it back or at least down a notch. Finally took this out into the field to chop up an oak. Haven't used it much so it is SHARP. It worked really good and took big chips out. Not a big fan of the big handle (I usually use a 32" or less) but this axe performed well. Well balance obviously as it's a double bit.

Scog,

My impression also. Also edge a little on the thick side for me.
