This Gransfors Mini Hatchet was hand picked to assure that the blade and edge was in line with the handle, and for the grain and figuring in the wood. While Gransfors products are of generally high quality, there is variation on how straight the blades and edges are, relative to the handle. There is definitely variation in the grain and quality of wood used for the handle.
Other than some test cutting on cardboard, paper, and light whittling, the Mini is unused and uncarried. I cannot distinguish the condition from new. The knife was purchased this month.
This is the coolest little axe, but my preference is for a larger axe, so this one is up for sale.
