Grant and Gavin Hawk - Tangent
ingenious mechanism keeps the blade "locked" when held firmly in hand. I'd compare the ingenious locking mechanism as a hybrid between a friction folder and a flipper.

handle is satin and bead blast finished titanium with lightning strike carbon fiber onlays. Its pocket clip is heat anodized titanium. The blade flips open with assistance from the rubber band and smoothly thanks to the ball bearing pivot.

hmm, I am interested in it. Well, I checked, it said it is a spring assisted knife? isn't that like an auto?

It doesn't have a traditional opening system. nor does it actually have traditional "spring". The spacer (I'm not sure what hawk officially calls it basically puts tension and causes knife to flip open like a spring assisted. technically it is not considered an "auto" however. it opens up like a flipper, and is like a friction folder as it can easily close (unless you hold onto it in which case it becomes like a fixed blade) ingenious design, unfortunately I'm use to Small knives (mnandi's) You may email me at cadetsantana1991@yahoo.com
