I received a G&G Hawk MUDD in the mail today. Very cool knife overall! I had a few questions though, so I called the phone number on their website listed under the "CONTACT" tab.
The phone rang just twice and the conversation went like this:
"Hello"
"Uh...is this Grant and Gavin Hawk knives?"
"Yes."
"I really didn't expect to reach anyone..."
Then I went on to explain my questions and Grant talked with me like a fellow knife enthusiast would. We talked for 10-15 minutes and he was very friendly. He answered my questions and then some. I wish I had more of their knives so I had an excuse to call them more.
My reason for showing the conversation is because I really liked how accessible the makers were. I knew that if I emailed them that I'd get a response, but to be able to talk to the man himself was pretty cool.
