The ZT MUDD was designed by G&G Hawk, but Kershaw makes the knives. My understanding of how this works is the company buys the rights to build a production version of the knife using the custom knifemaker's design.

For example, I have a G&G Hawk RAM II knife and I have several Kershaw RAM 1910 knives. They look very similar and function the same, but once you've handled both, it becomes immediately obvious which is the handmade knife. My analogy is like Ghirardelli vs Hershey. They're both chocolate, they're both brown, they're both good, but they are not equal.

I'm way down in the SW corner of Arizona. Currently it's 114 and 27% humidity. Yuck!
 
Also, typically the knife designer gets a small % on the profit/sale of each factory knife produced or sold.

Beautiful collection. My kershaw ram has become my edc favorite, I'd be interested in picking up a custom ram. If anyone wants to part with one- just drop me a line.
 
Very nice Dave! I love with each new design of their knives they find ways to reinterpret and improve on the pocket clip as well. Most knife makers spend enough time just making the knife that they don't think twice about the pocket clip, not Grant and Gavin. I really like the design of the one on the STUD.

@TRLdadbro Hello, I am making a website for Grant and Gavin and need a picture of the gal leg knife, would it be alright if I used this one? And do you have any others?
