Gratitude

Not an entry.
‘Since I started, I received numerous little gifts and knives from members I’ve communicated with.
‘Absolutely great community and I’ll be happy to see the Wingman going to someone that wants it !
Thank you for the opportunity, I’ll skip it in favor of someone else, good luck to everyone that will play !

Aww yeah, first contest of the sort that I have won!! Thank you, I really appreciate it! Am I able to send you DMs via a non-gold account? I could write it here or write my Email and email it to you.
edit: can't DM, I do not have a gold account. Shall I just write it here for a quick sec? Either let me know when you are ready, and I'll write it here, or reach out to me at *redacted* and I'll write you my address. Thank you again!
Hey Hashishiin Hashishiin just sent you an email so you can redact your address in the post

I received the Leatherman Wingman courtesy of GatorMedic GatorMedic in the mail today, (and a Buck 110 courtesy of Buck!) and it is amazing! 14 tools, spring-loaded pliers, this thing feels like a Cadillac in my hand when the pliers pop open! Beautiful OHO locking 420HC knife, half-serrated which is wonderful because I was needing something with serrations for my EDC. Ruler, file, wire cutter/stripper package opener (no more wondering which knife I wanna drag through cardboard and packing tape) drivers, can and bottle opener, and the slipjoint is STRONG!

I took a picture of the multitool it will be replacing, a 5 dollar, Chinese-made multitool which I got just to have a multitool, about 6 months ago, getting into knives, just getting my first Ontario and Opinel knives, when I scoffed at the idea of paying $60, $70, $80 for a knife, unless maybe for a "forever" knife, the BK9 and F/S dagger were my grails. Here is the multitool in "action" if you want to see how bad it is
mine evidently has a sliiiightly better "heat treat" as the blade is way more bendy, does not snap like in the video, but you can SEE the burn-marks from the uncooled grinder, and the knife is only ground on one side, though I am sure they didn't mean to do a chisel grind.

Here is my new beauty!

Thank you so much Gator! It wears great!! I intend to spread the love in a similar way to this on the forums in the future!
