Gravelface..1.. Gustav....0...

Jason, if you're going to stay in Cajun Country, you need to consider a better roof.

INFI?

We need pics of you clearing out south Louisiana with a SHBM.

Gustav was nothing, but the aftermath kicked my a$$!!!!!

Actually this reoccurring infection last night was giving me trouble......went to the ER and had it lanced....my doc wants to install a sponge and vacuum to help the "cavity" close?!

That's packing gauze by the way.....if you were wondering.

Dang Jason, that's not good at all.

I"m no doctor, but it sure seems like they should be able to do something to make that go away... We're praying for you to get well soon

Jason, Glad to hear you guys are safe and sound, and just in time for Ike. Meditations sent your way on the injury! Hope you're feeling better soon!

All the best to you and yours!

Wishing I could do more, young man. :(

The doctor's suggestion does sound good, though. Had a relative with a similar issue ... it just took time and care to make it go away.

Pulling for you out here in Hanna-land (getting soaked pretty hard today).

Look out for Ike Jason... May be headed into the Gulf by mid-week...

The Doctors are saying it is the shrapnel that cut through my lymphatic system and causing the infection......they are treating the sympton NOT the problem. BUT the problem with the problem is that NO doctor will touch the shrapnel because it is in a dangerous location.

They even discussed injecting dye into my leg to see what is leeking into my "cavity" and filling it to use fibrin to seal it.........but that would take a LOT of exploratory surgery and really open my thigh up. I go Monday to talk to the fella with the vacuum.
