Gravelface may know Magneto!

I am glad to hear this, I hope he can now start on the road to recovery!

Any new updates, today?

I hate to call this late if he's 'enjoying' the meds... :)

Thanks!

John

He's still doped up, but a little more informed. The Dr.s are still baffled as to how the shrapnel made it through his leg in less than 2 months (since the last scan showed it in it's entry position.). I told him that it falls into the category of answered prayer and miracles. They are hoping to kill the infection so as to not have to do exploratory surgery and chase pockets of it out. He seems in good spirits, but is concerned about missing so much work. So, keep his sale thread in mind if you have need of blades.

Prayers Sent.

Boss. You must make a blade with this piece in the handle....

I'd donate to a "Knife for GravelFace with a piece of shrapnel from his knee in the handle.....Fund"

Someone is going to have come up with a better name for it than that though. :thumbdn:

:D:cool:

I told him what Jerry wrote about the bolster. Of course he thought that was awesome.
A name to do with bombs, toughness and being a patriot? Do you think it would fit in?;):D

Alright Hogs...I am out of the constraints of the hospital FINALLY!!!! I went in Saturday morning after my leg.......for lack of a better term.....threw up. It had been really bothering me the previous few days and at 7 am I was giving Lex his nook as I bent down I felt a splash on the back of my leg. As I looked down I saw a small puddle of yellowish fluid on the ground so I went to the sink to get a towel and when I grabbed the back of my leg....it exploded! I swear their was a HUGE puddle on the ground.....looked like I peed my pants!

So a quick trip to the ER to get my leg drained ended up being a 6 day extended stay at the hospital.

I have been plugged into the wall for the entire time between my IV pump and this cool new hardware in my leg....a vacu-pump. It feels weird being attached to a Hoover!

The meds are good, but tomorrow will really tell as it will be my first "home" care visit where they will pull out the soggy sponge and install a fresh clean one......without the benefit of 4cc of dalaudin. This should be interesting.

What a ride GF.

Glad to hear you're doing somewhat better!

Take care of yourself bro!!!
