Graymaker Toothpick & Wild Rose Sheath

Thanks Roger - the customer's note was a relief! The tip was one of those things that I liked, but just wasn't sure about the customer (a long term customer but one never knows).

And it's funny when you talk about a lot of thought because over the last few years I find myself more and more going by intuition rather than planning every thing out ahead of time. I still do a rough sketch or too just to put my visualizations in 2D but once started I just go for it and let the design come alive.

Don't know if that makes sense but I know my work has gotten much better when I don't "over think" things.

Well Dan all I can say it it takes one to know one?

BTW do you have pics of P's engraved knife? He told me about it again and I'd liket o see it.

:p

dang I think I do?? I'll have to look..
we just had the blade done by John on that one, first,
he was going to send it back to John to finish it
after I got the handle compleated..

I don't know if he did that or not??
is he slowing up on you too for the move?

He's not doing anything until after the move - which looks like the start date is 11/7 or so. Newest news is they are driving and giving themselves a month for the trip - said they are taking the southern route through Texas to the coast and then North. Not exactly the best time of year to be driving the Alcan IMO - told him to take survival gear and he acted surprised - some long distances between nowhere up there and if you car breaks down it can get downright nasty so...
