Hi guys. so i finally got my kershaw leek open, and i greased the torsion bar and pivot joint where the blade meets the handle, and i put a lot of grease on it. like, you can see some of the grease even when the knife is put back together. and im wondering, does it hurt your knife to put too much grease on it? or should i take it back apart and wipe away the grease?

Less is sometimes better and in this case it's true. Dirt pocket lint etc. now has a place to hold onto and cause problems. A very thin coating will serve you better. I prefer a light coating of oil which should give you a smoother action.
