Greasing your KMG?

How do you guys get to the dagblastit zirk fittings on your KMG pillowblocks?

I believe there was a post on here, a while back, that indicated the bearings were sealed on the KMG grinder. I know they have the grease fittings on them and was surprised when I read that.

Yeah, Rob has said the KMG shouldn't be greased. My understanding was that it was just easier to keep the zirks in, and that's why they're mounted in such a way as to be difficult to get to.

Yep, don't grease them.

Just run it ...and run it...and run it. If you wear it out, please let me know.

Is there any (other) routine maintenance that needs to be done to a KMG, aside from maybe keeping all the bolts tight?
