Hi, I'm selling my Nikon D3100 setup as I'm looking to downsize my collection. It was my first "real" camera and I have really enjoyed using it but it's time to go to a new home where someone else will hopefully get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. I purchased it new at the end of 2012 from Best Buy with the 18-55mm VR lens as well as the 55-200mm VR (both excellent lenses).
The package comes with both of those lenses as well as a Nikon 35mm F1.8 and a Sigma 50mm F2.8 macro lens. I purchased both of these lenses on this forum and they are incredible. One note: the Sigma does not have an internal focus motor so it will not autofocus with the D3100 but I like to use manual focus for the macro photography I've done and I've gotten stunning results with this combo. Just wanted to make sure the buyer knew this before purchasing. I used the 35mm mostly and it is an absolutely amazing combo with this camera; light and compact and captures really incredible images.
It includes two UV filters and one circular polarizing filter, all best buy Rocketfish brand and they do their job. Also includes extra battery, charger, two hoods (one for Nikon & one for Sigma) and 2GB SD card with holder. All will come in a new Amazon Basics camera bag (surprisingly nice bag).
Camera has come with me all over the place but is still in really good shape. It has a few small scratches/scuffs on the LCD screen and some of the paint on the main function buttons is starting to wear (tried to get them in pics) but overall really looks good. This combo should cover pretty much anything a new/intermediate photographer would need.
Asking $550 for the setup which includes shipping (CONUS only) and paypal fee.
