I liked it too. Too bad it wasn't around to read when I was a kid. Written around 1985 or so??? Newberry award winner or mention???
It is a book aimed at the juvenile audience so that is where you will find it in the bookstore or library. Does not take long to read it. There are three other books dealing with this character, Brian. Hatchet would be the first to read.
