This knife is designed to serve in the field, at home and where ever it is carried. The 1095 steel is differentially heat treated with and edge hardness of approximately 59 to 60 Rc so it will hold an good edge and a spine hardness about 50 Rc for high toughness. The handle is made from Koa wood with cinnamon colored spacers and that are bolted to the knives full tang handle for maximum strength. It also features a glass breaker pommel and a file worked spine. The unique hole in the blade is intended to allow this knife to be made into an emergency spear by providing two anchoring tie down points. The hole is just the right size to pop a paracord into so the knife can be lashed to a pole and the lanyard hole in the pommel forms the secondary anchor point.
The brown tooled leather sheath allow for optional high or low carry on the right or left handed sided and an option to also carry horizontally (scout) style. This is accomplished by resetting the leather loop with the provide Chicago screws.

Specs:
3/16 inch thick 1095 High carbon steel differentially heat treated and finished with mustard.

Handle is Koa wood scales with cinnamon spacers on the knife’s full tang.

Blade Length is 4 inches from tip to center of hole and is 1.25" wide.

Overall Length about 9.125 inches

Brown tooled leather sheath (shown)

That is an awesome knife! Thanks for giving us the info not only about the fact that it is differentially heat treated but about the actual different hardness, I appreciate this info a lot and believe that we should see this more often!!
