Great Christmas selection by Yangdu for 12/22. Pix and usual steals.

Karma.
That's one of my favorite blades. Whenever we get into it with politics with each other, I think of this and other invisible ties which have connected us to the other in some way I do not understand.

Too much alike in opposite directions...the Cantina's own little set of living yin/yangs. I should have told you that earlier, but wanted to wait for it to become apparent to both of you.

That's why I like both of you so much... :D

From where I sit it looks like we have a couple left -- the Kerambit and I think a village model. Make me an offer.

It must be the AK village model that is still left. I got one of the BAS models - the wooden handle one. I have wanted a wooden handle BAS for awhile.
I already have a Kumar village model 17" Sirupati, but have been looking at smaller/lighter Khuks lately.
The BGRS was tempting, but I missed it....

Can't even get an offer. I figured some astute fellow would come along and say, "I'll got ten bucks!" But, nobody did. Might have to give these away as Christmas gifts if I can find anybody who'll take them.

Uncle Bill -
I just did my duty and added to my debt level.
I am sure that you can find people who are wiling to accept gifts.
I know that I am.... but I am surely overspent this holiday.
When my wife sees that triangular box in the mail, I am certain that I will hear:
What! What do you need another knife for?
She just does not understand.

I tell her that it is a "guy thing."

She always seems to want clothing, jewelry, watches and stuff like that.
I have been trying to convince her to request power tools for presents.
It is a NO SALE.
I have been trying to interest her in Khuks for presents.
You know the answer to that one.
I tried to convince her to request firearms for her birthday or Christmas.
NO GO on that one.

I don't get it.

Uncle Bill,
I just didn't want to insult you saying that I'd give you 50.00 for the pair. It seemed insulting. :o :footinmou

It's funny that the AK villager did not sell, because that's the one that caught my eye! I'm simply tapped-out of spare funds right now as I think many of us are. I MUST wait until January before I can bite at another one, so this shark will have to stay hungry until then.

Very Best Wishes to All this Holiday Season!!!!

Geoffrey

Is anybody else having trouble seeing the pictures? Same for the past 3-4 days. In fact I can't get to anything on the himalayan-imports.com pages... All the computers here at work are the same, it's as if the domain is blocked (it's not - I'm the de facto IT guy). Does anybody have the IP for himalayan-imports.com so I can try directly?

Ditto
I figure these are pretty rock-bottom prices
especially figuring all the shipping costs time etc

Figured a lower price would be posted if it needed to move
like a dutch auction
"Also called a descending price auction, it was named after the famous auctions of Dutch tulip bulbs in the 17th century, and is based on a pricing system devised by Nobel prize winning economist William Vickrey."

That AK-Villager caught my eye too.

Only Seax is left. Didn't see it from where I sit but it's there waiting for a new home.

If I hadn't bought a regular wood one at full price a few months ago (it's getting etched by Ferrous in his spare time), I'd be all over that seax.
At the time I had no idea there were going to be seaxes in exotic wood.
I can't believe it's still available... :(

I hear ya. I still like my plain wood handled one though. Now that I think of it, I haven't taken it out and stuck anything with it for a while. ;)
