Great deal on Diamondback and a question regarding the knife.

Messersmith, I just saw your other post confirming you paid 6.00 for the mantis. Was there anymore left cause I have not seen this knife at any of the Kmarts near me. Is it nice?

Thanks for the heads up guys,I picked up a mantis yesterday, nice slim and smooth!Absolutly no wobble in any direction, not a bad knife at all for $6!

They only had one left I may have to go back and get it too LOL

AZA: I got the Mantis for $6. Like LOTO said, it's not a bad little knife for $6. Smooth opening and no wobble. Over the past few months I have been carrying larger folders and I'm finding the 3" Mantis is a nice change. I'll probably pick up a few more for gifts or whatever.

Messersmith, what was the original price on the mantis? Seems like a really good deal. Is it made in the USA?

aza,the mantis is made in china,I normally don't buy knives that have those 5 little letters on them but was curious of the quality it being a buck, and it is very good! original price was $30 at Kmart, smokeymountain had them for $22.

I wouldn't spend $30 on the knife,I'd rather have a 110 or 112 but for the $ it's a pretty good deal.
