Great Eastern Cutlery – Burnt Grizzly Cut Bone folder

Great review Alfredo and great pics as well. That one will be slightly heavier than a slipjoint #73 due to the extra liner. That a nice looking knife too Charlie!!

Hi Alfredo -

Thank you for the wonderful pictures and review!

Charlie is an enabler, and I mean that in the very best way!

Enjoy your new knife!

best regards -

It's a fine and useful pattern when the 73 comes as a single blade.

Got 4 of them, 2 liner-locks (Stag and the only GEC take on Bonestag) solid, inspiring knives that settle down to a lot of tasks.

Many thanks for your first-rate pictures, GEC should be proud that many of their knives have left their native shore: Yours in the Med and mine in Scandiland, well done:thumbup:

Beautiful knife, Alfredo, the Grizzly Cut Bone is one of my favorites. The Pioneer linerlocks are great user knives, and I even sometimes carry one in my right front pants pocket, if I'm wearing jeans. I'm sure some people "back pocket" them, but I've never been a fan of that carry. A horizontal belt sheath also works well with those large folders.

It's interesting to see how GEC's bone changes over the different offerings.

Re-opening this 3D to show you some more pics and my toughs after some day of use. I carried my GEC for 1 week, daily basis: despite isn't a small folder, it's confortable and not too heavy. The lack of a pocket clip in terms of carrying confort is equalized by the confort that the same lack give you on handling the knife. Cutting ability of this knife is very well, I cutted mainly food, but also some green woods to do a stick or similars. Dont want to use this knife for batoning/chopping, as isn't the intended use of it. Handle is quite confortable, I'm surprised as the bone is in the same time smooth and grippy, just a great feeling. Now some random pics I took today:

Regards, Alfredo
