Great Eastern Cutlery: #66 - Equal End Serpentine

Totally agree Charlie. What impressed me was the equal thickness of both slabs. Just like the three bears, just right.

Very nice, Charlie. I especially like the stag on the knife in the bottom of the photo.
Yes, the bottom one is clearly the winner!

The vote is clear!! Gnarly is the winner - thanks for the input Alan, Jake and Kiteman!
Alan, thickness was a big part of my decision to buy. I am not fond of thick stag.

Received the blue camel bone and stag today to add to 66 family...

Very nice blue camel bone. I am glad I did not purchase this late in the game because if I did and saw this picture after I ordered, I would have been very disappointed. What is and what was left of the blue camel bone looked extremely disappointing. I am glad I decided not to pull the trigger on it. Having said that, yours is a very nice example, and if I saw one like that to pick from, I would have pulled the trigger immediately. I think the ones that were left should have been culled.
I did pick up an Ugly Stag. Ha ha. I am anxious to see how ugly it really is.

That is an awesome lineup of 66s! You did quite well with your choices on this run. Hard to pick out a favorite, but that ironwood looks really nice!

Got this one today, actually better in the flesh than the pics that were shown.
All three blades were pretty well sharpened, pull on the main about 5-6, spey & sheepsfoot 4.
Whoever hafted this one did a great job, other than where there is a deep canyon the covers & bolsters
meet seamlessly.
The point on the clip is a little proud, other than that it is ok.

I am liking that smooth autumn gold bone. That one really stands out for me. Great collection! Which one are your users and which are safe queens?

The two jacks I carry and use. I have to admit I prefer the two blade models so the stockmen don't get used. That'll change now that I have the tortoise shell and the stag.
