Just interested on the F&F etc. Since GEC is new and unknown at
least to me!

I have heard the gamut on GEC, from horrible service/f and f, to the best thing since sliced bread. From the models I have seen of theirs, I like their products.

I have one and a couple of other GE knives and think very highly of all of them.

I've posted a couple of pix, to show what I'm referring to (Model 73 Scout). All in all I'm pleased with the f&f. There's a tiny bit of an abrasion on the bone scales along the back edge from manufacturing, I guess, but I figure with use it will all blend in. Nothing serious! The lock sits flat when the (single) blade is in either position. No gaps between liners and scales, etc. Great half-stop. Out of the tube it has a plenty good edge. For $70 I can't complain - but I will... I've got a crappy thumbnail, and this is a tight lock. It's normal, my thumbnail is not. I think you'll like it. Any other ??'s email me.
