That's quite a line-up Joe! I'm picking out the Madison in mammoth as the culprit. You might want to banish that one to a home in Michigan (I'll volunteer) before it corrupts the rest of them. :) Really is a spectacular group.

Thanks for that. I've been through 150-200 GECs to find the lineup I enjoy the most. I feel good about the 20 or so that make up my keepers. And sad about only a few I've gifted or sold to those who wanted them badly. My list is pretty short these days.

Joe,

Great line-up of knives ! What is the large whittler in your pic (the one right after the fixed knives)? Thanks, Raul.

Raul, that is a 98 "American Whittler" in Snakewood. 1 of 50.

It's one of my favorites.

Joe, I really like the range of different patterns you have chosen. That's a great selection of users and lookers.:thumbup:

Nice photo Joe. And, when he decides to let one go, it's always fair and equitable. One of my grails from him.

Alan

Is that new day barlow ground into a spear point or is at an optical illusion of angle? Im very jeleous of your purple norfolk whittler, I dont know why these weren't more popular!!

Bob and Alan, you're too kind.

The New Day has a spear mod on it; it's not quite where I want it yet but I need to order some new belts and a grinder for the clean swedge I want (or have Glenn do it!).

Fortunately some of the purple Norfolks are still on KSF. They're great little knives. Great small blades for fine work. Pointy!!!

The only difference is that the 53s are cam action, while the 54s have half-stops. Same frame, exactly.
