Great Eastern Cutlery ( GEC ) group shots / photo requests

Busted! To be fair, these knives didn’t look like this when I bought them. All have had some remedial dyeing. It’s doubly hard to turn down a knife purchase when it’s also got a fun project as a bonus.

any one got all of GECs equal ends patterns? curious to see them next to each other. thanks

Daggone...so much want!

Here's one of my latest group shots...so close now.

Waiting on a Black Camel Bone from a trade to arrive. One of the Burnt stag is a placeholder until I find a Natural Stag...then I will just be needing the NEPTUNE.

I hope you find a Neptune! I've been after one for quite some time. Hard to come by! Nice line up there, to be sure.

That is a awesome collection of 85's. My goodness. Actually , it's your goodness and my jealousy.
Thanks for sharing that picture. Top notch.
Quick question , on the right , 5th down , what is the handle material?
Thank you! 5th down on the right is mammoth. ;)

Ok. I’ve always wanted to do this, and I think this is as close as I am going to get, as I’ve mostly lost the desire to track down what is missing (21, 28, 42, 45, 61, 63, 64, 65 - have a 65 but it missed the photo op; had a 61 but it’s gone).

Today may be the day for any photo requests before many of these are packed up and/or passed along.
Very impressive & helpful. You can't quit now :) Really shows how stinkin big the Whaler is

Awesome collection. Love the little 09 in ebony.

Thanks for the encouragement, fellas!
Admirable effort.

It’s definitely a beast! I’ve heard people comment on the size of the whalers and the camp knives, but I was pretty surprised to see the 23 next to everything. It seems to dwarf the 43, which I thought was a pretty good sized knife.

I wish it was ebony...it’s actually buffalo horn. Has the look, but I really like ebony.
Fantastic, Mike!

What is the cover material on the Barlow, please? Ivory?

Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you!
Not only ivory, but Unicorn ivory! haha
It's an acrylic material that GEC tried on this run of 25's. Apparently, they had some problems with some of them coming out damaged in some way? Doubtful they will use it again.
It sure was beautiful and looked ALOT like real ivory to me.
