You obviously like red bone... Me too.:thumbsup:

I just posted this first picture on the previous page but bear with me a minute. What with whats been going on with me in the last few months, I've sold almost all of my knife collection - Case, GEC, etc.. Where I used to have 65 or so GEC Affiliated knives I now only have these.

Knives made by GEC that don't carry the GEC Brand.

GEC Knives that of course carry the GEC Brand.

I love that #46 Whaler. 😍

Only GEC I have are an 852211 Harness Jack in Stag, at roughly 3.5625 inch closed, shown with a Case 62131CV canoe at 3.625 inch closed, and a 3.250 inch closed Ulster Number 10. I don't know if the two blade 85 pattern with different covers is thinner mark to pile sides.
(The Ulster isn't one of the RJR/Prince Albert knives, which dates it no later than 1969/1970 when Schrade shut down Ulster in favor of "Ulster Old Timer" and "Old Timer". The post 1970 4 blade "Ulster Official Boy Scout knives" were actually made by Camillus, I'm told.)

And a 828318 Dixie Stockman at 4.125 inch closed, shown with Buck 301 at 4.000 inches closed, a Rough Rider RR603 Stockman at 4.250 inches closed, and a 1978 to 1986 Old Timer 858 Lumberjack Stockman, at 4.625 inch closed.
Only the 301 on top is a 3 spring design. The rest are a two spring.
(Case take note: Not even the $9.99 retail Rough Rider has any blade rub. Kinda sinks your claim "Blade Rub goes with the pattern ..." don't it?)
