I to really like that Powderhorn; looks like a real usefule knife, and pretty to boot. Is this Powderhorn an old pattern addition to the TX toothpick and small toothpick, or is this a some what newer modified version of the old pattern? Edumacate me please!

It's a take off of a Toothpick, I 'think' the regular type of Toothpick's were one bladed affairs, although Case did have one with two blades too,
but mostly the two blades sets this one apart as well as the clip style blade I think it a departure from the regular Toothpick Style?

More knowledgeable gents than myself can add/correct on the above info

That'd be great, especially as I've been here in Mexico for a while now and won't be home until Thursday night, so I really miss that folder !!!

Can't go wrong with a GEC IMO, I'm really liking the looks of this one it's a winner for sure also the stag looks amazing.

And Once again I talk myself into purchasing a new GEC based upon a thread here on the Forum. GEC Powder Horn OTW.

That's a great looking knife. I have been wanting a toothpick but this may be a better choice for me. Anyway the stag looks great and I really like the clip on this pattern. - Ed J

well, maybe a slight bit intended and yes that other knife was also a beauty, miss that one,
as I always miss the ones I end up moving along :(

Great knife, thanks for sharing

Can the main blade be pinched out?

Also, how is the spring tension on this model?

With the pen blade there, it makes it difficult to pinch open so, no on that question
the tension is about perfect for me at least, solid not a nail breaker but no play and
it keeps the blades where they should be when open :)

It works absolutely exquisitely well as a steak knife when the restaurant gives your something that I would refer to as a butter knife, had it the ability to actually cut butter. With the tapered tail end, this knife has a bit of the look of the European picnic knives anyway. Steaks cut with sharp knives taste better. ;)

Thanks Dave, love both the knife and the Sinn 656, excellent watch !
and yes t1mpani, steaks do tend to taste just a tad better once sliced by a keen edge ;)
