How long has it been snce Buck made knives out of 440C?

I have never seen one. All my Bucks are 420HC, but they made have made some of their fancier models out of it - some time ago.

I dunno, but I've got one, a 110 that I bought in the Navy, early 80s.

ALL their blades were 440C in the 60's and 70's.
I got my 110, my 119, and my 105 in the late 60's. All are 440C.
