I have a Great Eastern knife up for sale today. I believe it's called a Boys knife. It brand new and never been used. It's just been in my safe collecting dust.

$55.00 TYD in the U.S.

I thought that protocol for purchasing is first I'll take it wins??

if it says that in the description, proper etiquette is usually after the interested party ask any questions the seller would then answer those questions and the first post would then decide if that's the right Knife for them? Meaning if you have personal concerns or pet peeves if you will its best to ask first rather than not be satisfied later. That's what I have seen here on BF and also done myself.

someone can correct me if I am wrong? if someone before you ask a question its proper etiquette to wait until the questions has been answered first.

Correct. First "I'll take it" is the general rule, however, if the seller specifies a right to sell to whomever, or refuse sale, then that rule may be set aside.

From what ive seen is if someone is first in the thread to pose a question that obviously means they are interested but would like to ask a question or two first, then if someone post an ill take it afterwards (if they have proper etiquette) they will then mention if the first poster doesn't want it ill take it.

no matter, Karlug can have it.

You sir are a class act , good to see :)

This is not a knife on my must have list, but honestly, I'm buying it for my 12 year old grandson for Christmas. I sure appreciate your courtesy, didn't mean to make an issue out of it. If its on your must have list i'll sell it to you at cost. Theres always another knife.
Thanks, Sam
