Great experience last night

I took my son, his girlfrend, and his best friend up to one of my favorite small lakes last night and had a really good time, took my 3 seater canoe and my kayak. The kids had a great time jumping off some rocks/cliffs and swimming. Late in the evening we paddled over to a secluded camp spot that you can only get to by boat and ate supper and set up to catfish for the night. I caught a couple of nice cats and had a good time showing my son how to get the fire started when the wood is wet.

The experience of the day was going back to the truck, we had about a half a mile or more paddle back, 1:00 in the morning, full moon with no one else at all on the lake. The water was like a black mirror, not a ripple, it felt like my kayak was flying you could barely feel any resistance at all. Anyway we had a fantastic evening and I just thought I would share, next time I won't forget the camera. Chris

Chris,
It is times like that your son & friends will not forget. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Those are the things that you can't plan, you just have to be there when they happen.

Off topic, drop me an e-mail Chris @ souperfly64 at yahoo.com.

It sounds like a night to remember..............I'm happy to hear you are making the most of the these long summer nights. You will have pleasant memories of your adventure for the rest of your life...and so will your son !
