I'll try to keep this short, but I feel like I need to give these guys some praise.
I ordered a knife from KC and based on the photo and description, I thought I was buying a single blade traditional. When I recieved my knife, it was the same part number, but a typical 2 blade trapper pattern. I shot KC an email expressing my concern and findings, expecting to hear back in a couple days.
Well, not 2-3 hours later, I recieved an email from Katelin saying they would contact the manufacturer to sort out the confusion. The same day, Katelin emails me again saying that the manufacturer made a change between announcement (catalog photo) and production, resulting in a different picture to actual product. She immediately offers a refund and sends me a return label should I chose to do so.
Being a knife nut, Im browsing KCs website throughout the day, and find a beautiful Queen Cutlery in Zebra African Hardwood. At that point, I email K asking if I can exchange and refund the difference. She said of course, and would have my knife ready to ship as soon as they received the return.
Katelin was awesome throughout the whole process and it never took more than 4 business hours to get a response, and this was over the course of 10 or so emails. I was very impressed by that. Katelin made the entire ordeal completely painless and simple.
