I contacted Tk to make a special knife for me in early August. Right from the start I knew I had made the right choice. He was very clear about costs,materials and turnaround time. Throughout the process communication was always timely and professional. I recieved the knife on Sep 26 about 4 weeks under the estimate he gave me! The knife itself was exactly what I had been promised with a few extras thrown in. Very fine craftmanship and extremely professional customer service. This is by far the best experience with a custom knifemaker that I have had. I can highly recommend TK Steingass to anyone wishing to have a custom knife built.
