Great Knives of Your State

Bob Dozier has his shop right here in Springdale Arkansas.

A.G. Russell is right up the road in Rogers,

and Tom Krein has his shop 20 minutes away in Gentry Arkansas.

I recall quite a few knifemakers in the Ozarks, not many others with the name recognition of Bob Dozier though.

Is Mcgrew is still in business in Glenwood? I don't think they made any knives themselves, but they were (are?) stamped ARK. USA. Camillus and Imperial and/or Colonial made their knives.
I also see a McCoy knife company in Mt Ida (I spent a lot of time there), but the knives look like Bear & Son products.

You would have to be an absolute idiot to try and manufacture knives in Illinois. You'd be closed down faster than you can say corruption.
