I was just wondering if anyone knows of any great under 3" knives because its illegal to carry anything over 3" in my location. Also, If its under $150 that would be great

Take a peak at the Benchmade 707 Sequel, it's one of my favorite under 3" blade. I believe they have the blade listed at 2.95", it has an aluminum handle with G-10 inserts. Slim and fairly lightweight it fits great in the pocket as well, it's also within your price-point...

Emerson mini CQC-7, Spyderco Delica, Spyderco Native, Spyderco Dragonfly, Benchmade 585, Benchmade 470 (maybe) those are just some knives I thought of that are around 150 dollars but there are some more that I didn't list because I for got the name of them.

Hands down the Kershaw Cryo.

The Spyderco Sage series are AMAZING, but 3" exactly on the blade length. BM Mini grip is under 3" and can be had for under $70! There are tons of possibilities... is there anything in particular you like? (More info would really help) Favorite blade steel(s), Handle material, locking mechanism, manufacturer?

Spyderco Techno! Slightly over $150 but an awesome little cts-xhp steel knife.

I have a Sage 2 which is absolutly my favorite knife I have right now. I got it right here on bladeforums for below $150 which amazing too plus it helped out the seller. I was looking at the other sages but I dont wanna get repeative in my collection. I would totally agree with you.

Spyderco: Delica ffg, caly 3, the whole sage series, techno, dragonfly, leafstorm, chaparral.

Benchmade: mini griptilian, Doug Ritter mini grip (Ritter Mini RSK-1), small bone collector, 707 sequel, 705 if you can find one.

Kershaw: Leek (any variation but particularly the g10/s30v), cryo.

Of all of the knives I've listed I can speak highest of the benchmade 707, spyderco sage or caly3 if you want an upscale feel. And the benchmade Ritter mini grip or the spyderco delica ffg (in zdp-189 if you can swing it) if you don't mind frn handle scales and want to save a couple bucks.

Curtiss Nano. Costs (around $200 for liner lock, $300 for framelock) quite a bit more than your budget for the midtech version. Boker makes a production version of the Nano for about $40.

I'll bet kershaw has at least 10 that fit the bill, the techno is the latest and it is getting very good reviews.

Benchmade makes several- the mini grip 556, small barrage 585, emissary 470, 525, 707, etc.

Spyderco makes several as already mentioned- dragonfly delica, sage, and a model in the tenacious line that is just smaller than the tenacious.

Everything up there except maybe the emissary should be available well under $150.

It is illegal here in Rhode Island too.
Great 3 inch or less

Strider Sj75

Emerson CQC-7 mini
Grayman Dua
Spyderco Sage 2

hope this helps

I love the UKPK G10 and the Dragonfly ZDP-189 for an under 3 inch EDC.
