Wow Ken! That looked like you all had a great time...it's good to see the kids out there enjoying the activities as well. My family would love to do something like this...what a great gathering of folk and exceptional instructors. Thanks for taking the time to post and share...excellent pictures BTW!:thumbup:

Wow this looks like it was a great time to bad I didn't know about it before hand as I live in MI and would have loved to attend. How would I go about finding out when these types of things are happening? Any tips?

The group has a facebook page called 'Great Lakes Primitives'. Just search it via facebook and join the page. They will make an announcement about the dates for next year probably sometime in Feb.

I've never been to anything quite like this, but have been to smaller day events organized around some of the flintknapping meetings. One took place in Chelsea in May. Some of these events seem to be ear-to-the-ground kind of things so you always have to be on the look out.
