Hello again, This is a repost. The pics are a little better than before.
Blade is of 154CM .100 thick 3.0 in. from tip to bolsters. and o/a is 7.0 in. It has been hollow ground with 10 in. wheel. The swedge has also been ground with 10 in. wheel. I do all my grinding free hand belly grinding. The steel has been heat treated to 60-61 RC and has been cryo treated and tempered 2 hrs twice. VERY!! sharp. The finish is 1200 satin.
Bolsters are lightning strike carbon fiber pinned with bronze welding rod. Very secure. The nice thing about carbon fiber is that in a test I could not seem to get it to fracture when setting a pin in it. Tough stuff for sure.
Handle is green canvas micarta with mosaic pins, thin red liners, and lanyard hole.
Sheath is 8-9 ounce hand tooled and stitched leather that is custom made with a snap fit that holds the knife securely yet is easy to withdraw.
Great knife and sheath for the money.
