Great mini folders and knives

How about a Mcusta MC-5X Gentleman Folder? It comes with a 2.75 inch VG-10 damascus blade, various handle options (micarta, cocobolo and stamina wood).

I have handled one, and the pocket clip (tip-down right-hand only) rides low and seems reasonably strong, the liner is a bit thin but it might be adequate for light cutting work expected to be done by a gentleman folder.

My personal preference is the Mini-Ritter.
I have 2, one in M2 and one in M4.
As someone posted earlier in this thread; there is quite a few custom scale makers making scales for these.
Great steel + custom scales = Awesome!

I have to admit those are some great scales, nothing beats the swimming pool green scales though.

+1 for the Spyderco Dragonfly. If you want to spend a little more and get a little more knife, I'd reccomend the Spyderco Sage series, I prefer my Sage 2 the most. I did a review on the Dragonfly 2 HERE . I own all kinds of knives ranging from $40 to $700 and I find myself using my dragonfly 2 as much or more than any of them. It also makes a good jogging or hiking rig as a neck knife:

No mention of the mighty lil Spyderco Techno? That is by far my favorite little knife, it's the only small knife I don't feel under knifed when I carry it, lol!

A Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air would be my suggestion--about as good a steel as you'll find on a knife.

I really like the Benchmade HK14210 if you can find one, great knife. The NativeV, Sage, Caly, and Ti UKPK are also really great knives. Lot of good choices out there.

Damascus Chive. Just got one myself and it's a nice little knife. Won't be carrying it though. It's getting squirreled away. CRKT Ripple- blue frame lock, not the WalMart version. Nice little knife for the money. Smooth as you can ask a flipper to be- thanks to the IKBS.

I never hear anyone talk about them, but for a blade just under 3", I have really been liking my Benchmadee 525 mini-presido in M4 steel (525BK-1101). Although smaller than most of my other folders, it still feels extremely solid...and it is the one I carry to work because its all black and doesn't draw attention.

Cold Steel Mini Tuff Lite.
Inexpensive, sturdy, non-threatening, and surprisingly useful.:)

I like Chad Los Banos' designs for Boker Plus.

I'd be hard pressed to desert-island only one of these. I love 'em truly, madly, deeply.
Flawless, both of them.
Spyderco Leaf Storm and Spyderco Techno.
