Last week while out making my day off of work during the week rounds at the local Outdoor & Sporting Good's stores in the area, I came across what was (unknown to me prior) my new knife.
First, let me state I am not nor ever have been a Benchmade fan (exception being the Nimravus) But, when I came across and handled the new CSK II I was more than impressed. And being under $100 was icing on the cake. (payed $70 for this one)
I couldnt stand the original CSK!! But really, if ya get a chance check one of these out.
Overall Length: 10.75"
Blade Length: 6"
Material: 1095 Carbon
Style: Clip point
Total weight: 7.50oz
Contruction is Full Tang and this thing feels solid! Balance and heft feel equally as good. (would like to have a good choil though)
The handle is a rubberized soft material that feels good in the hand, with a good traction pattern on the top and bottom of it. Also a good sized finger guard. I have soaked the handle down and it still retains great grip even when wet.
The sheath is a decent leather with holes for cord. There is a belt loop as well as a Malice clip on the back for molle carry. Multiple carry options.
All-in-all, I am VERY impressed with this knife! I am yet to get it out for a good beating in the woods. Really wish I would have had it for my camping trip just a few days prior to purchase. However, a thorough punishment is planned for it and Ill post some pics after its done.
Just wanted to share a nice inexpensive knife option with ya guys
