Last Friday I dropped off my knife for service at the GEC booth at the local sportsmans show. When I called about it Chris told me to just leave it with Bob Andrews (old hundred collectibles) who was manning the booth the day I was there. One week later I have the knife back in my hands and it's 100% repaired. The total cost to me was $0.

Full disclosure. First I live in Pittsburgh about two and a half hours south of the factory. Second the repair was a simple lowering of the main blade by filing the kick. I didn't pay shipping because it was dropped off.
So if you send your knife in for repairs expect to pay shipping and it will probably take longer!
