Wanted to share the great experience I had with Walter (aka wwells20). I had no prior interactions with Walter and it's only after sending my knife to him that I looked up some of this work.
I wanted some work done on a knife and inquired about it in the maintenance/tinkering forum. See my post HERE
Walter was the only one to reach out to me. He was very up front and made me feel very comfortable about sending my knife to him. He even said that if he couldn't perform the work I wanted, that he would refund my PayPal and ship my knife back to me. I mean, how do you say no to that.
Walter kept me up to date throughout the whole process - eg. when he received the knife, while working on it, then send me nice pictures of the knife after all the work to make sure I was happy with the results, when it shipped, etc...
Originally I was only looking for someone to mod the blade and not the scale, but Walter offered to mod the scale (which I was going to try and do myself) for the same price. Told him to go at it.
Now my Boker Anso 67 looks more like a custom Anso than a Boker - pretty stoked about this knife now!
