I recently had the great opportunity to send in a factory 2nd hell's belle to be "re-duxed" by bladeforum's very own Greg Covington.
Needless to say, I was very impressed with the product and his business ethic. First off, despite a workload that made him initially refuse my order, the man made time to do the work on my knife. Despite the workload, the knife came back EARLIER than expected. The knife that I sent in was in bad shape, epoxy visible, and the guard was pretty badly misshapen. But Mr. Covington returned the knife with a beautful eagle's head cocobolo handle, fixed the guard, making it look brand spanking new, and gave it a subtle heat-blued treatment to the blade. To top it all off, the blade actually feels more ALIVE in my hand!
To top it all off, Greg has been great to deal with. Great communication, up-front and honest. I can't recommend him enough.
I'll post a pic of the knife soon.
