Just came back from Home Depot where I found a Husky Torx Driver set with the following bits stored in the handle, #4,#5,#6,#7,#8,#9,#10,#15. This is great for knife knutz, better than the Blue Box by BM, and a lot cheaper too, $5.99 vs $19.99.

Just thought I'd pass on the info, BTW I am in no way suggesting that anyone take apart any knife they own as this will void most warranties. :D

That's exactly what I've been looking for. I actually have a different set of bits that I use in my Blue Box since the originals suck, but I definitely want one of these. Thanks, T.

Thanks, I wonder if Lowes has them....there's a Lowes about 30 seconds from my house..... I'm definitely getting one.

As far as I know Husky products are only carried by the Home Depot.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up my Blue Box 6T is stripped. But thank goodness that stripped instead of the screw head.

I bought T6 and T9 Craftsman screwdrivers from Sears not too long ago. That covers the pivot and the clip on my Benchmades for just $3.98. If you own a 921 Switchback, you only need the T6 torx screwdriver for that model. Of course, owning just one Benchmade is kind of impossible unless you hate them.

Is one small enough to fit the ridiculously teeny tiny pocket clip screws? I hate those things!

It should, the T-4 size is microscopic!

Sears has a similar model to the Husky one shown above. It is a bit more expensive, about $10, but has one additional feature. The end holding the bit extends to about 4 inches, which may be handy for screws located inside areas difficult to reach - not much use for knives however.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought 2 of the torx and 2 of the plain-phillips models and gave a set to dad.:)

I work for the company that makes these screwdrivers.

The Husky models are available only in The Home Depot. They come in the pictured Torx model and also a precision screwdriver model incorporating philips and slotted bits. They are phenominal quality and are a must have for a knife nut! They are merchandised in the screwdriver section and various places around the store. They should be in all Depot stores across the country and maybe Canada.

The Craftsman model is the original design of this model. It is a larger screwdriver with 4 different size Torx heads. It is available only at Sears.

Hope that helps

Ask them to make a set of allen wrenches for some of the older BM's

That would make for a nice set.
