I traded Eric a knife for some sheaths and they are great. He did a set of kitchen sleeves for a set for Forschner knives I gave my wife. We didn't want to clutter the counter, it's already packed, and they are just what we wanted. I included a scan of the boning knife and paring knife sheaths.

Eric also made sheaths for a Fallkniven S1 and the Lamey 5" Camp knife in the scan.

Note to Matt Lamey: I decided to slightly round the corners of the back of the blade/guard in order to make a smooth release from the sheath. Now it's just right. (Eric said something about the difficulty of making a secure yet smooth releasing sheath with the sharp corners on some knife designs. Eric didn't customize the knife, he just made a really secure sheath .)

The sheaths fit great, are well made, plus a quick turn around. We are satisfied customers.

Thanks,

Brad

Nice looking sheaths... what's the purpose of the hole in the sheath near the tip of the blade?

The hole in the end of the sheath is a drain hole. I think it's a nice touch, at least for the belt carry sheaths, in case your carrying your knife in the rain or whatever.

Hey Guys....

Brad,, Thank you Very much for the Excellent review,,it is Greatly Appreciated!
Mind if I use that picture on my site???

As far as the drain hole is concerned,, all it is really for is when you wash the sheath out,,more that than for rain...

I wash my sheaths out once and awhile under high pressure,,like a garden hose or something...

This gets all the little nasties out that have entered the sheath via the blade or however...Just easier to clean out is all...

Some people like them,,others don't, which is fine....

Matt.. I'll be in touch shortly....
