I love this weather 70s with a breeze durin' the day and mid 40s at night, perfect weather for ridin'.

I've been ridin' motorcycles for 42 years and I've ridden 'em all, my current ride is a vintage '75 Yamaha Venture, I love the way it handles, with the higher center of gravity it has it makes it easy to toss the 700+ lbs around on the twisties.

What're ya ridin' and if ya got a pic throw it up on the post.

Here's mine, with my daughter and her boyfriend on it.

Nice scoot how are those bars for longer ride, at 50 I'm more apt to sit my but in a road sofa kinda seat.

Back in my teens my '69 Norton Commando and my '71 Combat Commando had seats that were nothin' more than a steel pan with leather on it, my butt could take a lot more back then.

My current, first, and only motorcycle, an 800cc Suzuki Volusia. Bought new in '04 and she's ended up being one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Every thing about that bike sucks for long rides...but it looks cool, Thats all that matters riiiiight?:)

My other bike is for long trips
06 Yamaha Stratoliner

1995 Ducati 900SS/SP. When I bought her 5 years ago she had 5600 miles on the odometer....it's at 39k and change now.

Yamaha FJR....

ericb445...pulled 82 ft lbs torque with a set of D&D "FatCats", SE cleaner, and a dyno tune on an 04 1200R Sportster...

I used to average 10,000 miles annually on a Honda VFR. Now, with two kids, I'm relegated to a 1983 Honda moped (70cc 2-stroke) but it will go 45mph and average 72mpg. It's super fun as long as no one I know sees me. :)

Yamaha FJR. Hey Les! Are these awesome bikes or what? I came up from standards (back when ALL bikes were standards), then sport, then the new standards (Bandit, FZ1) and thought I'd be giving up the fun for more more long distance comfort and the bags, but this bike is sweet. A lot heavier than what I was used to, but this fat girl can dance!

1996 GT Edge Ti-no motor for me yet. Once upon a time when I'm rich and responsible I'll pickup an older SV650S as my first bike. I hear they're easy to handle, easy on gas, easy on the ass and easy on maintenance.

MVF... these things are rocketships.... I put a Suzuki DL1000 VStrom in the dirt, collapsed a lung, and decided I wanted to really go fast in my old age....a lot of kids on Jixers are surprised....

In my eyes a ride is a ride, ya get the same wind in yer face on a Harley or a Vespa.

I went to Europe to see some family with my daughter a few years back and I was complainin' to my cousin how I missed ridin' my bike, so he pulls out this little 120cc scooter and handed me a helmet, I was happy as hell to have anything with 2 wheels and a motor to ride.

I took it out nearly every day for 6 weeks and always returned with a s**t eatin' grin on my face.

In the wind Brothers.

This is my current ride, 2002 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100.

Also have an '81 Honda CM400E that I didn't put on the road this spring, but it's a fun little bike.

That's a nice looking Venture, T. Erdelyi, but is it perhaps an '85 and not a '75? I I didn't think Ventures were made until '83 or thereabouts.

Eventually, I'd like to get the HD Nightster like Eric posted. I'd replace the straight handlebars with something a little more comfy though.

Suzuki V-Strom! I love my bike!

650 or 1000? Are they as comfortable to ride as they are to sit on at the dealers? If I didn't have to carry my wife I think I would go for the 650.
