Great wood score for handle material!!!

I went to a place today in Smithville Ontario Canada called The Wood Shed to check out what they might have for handle material and boy it was certainly worth the drive.

For $99 Canadian tax included I picked up all this wood.

The two shorter pieces on the right in my first pic are actually 2 foot long pieces of 2 x 4 of Ironwood. This last photo shows two pieces of Ironwood. The tiny one on top I paid if I remember correctly somewhere between $30 and $40 American from USA Knife Maker and the bottom one from The Wood Shed for $10 Canadian, LOL. I can’t believe how much cheaper it was there.



If anybody is ever in the area I would definitely recommend checking it out and if you are not I would try finding a local exotic wood supply store as opposed to online like I was doing because it is definitely radically cheaper.
