Hello,

I'm just new to this site. I was directed here by the people at Chris Reeves Knives. They said this was probably the best place to find answers to my question.
I recently purchased a Green Beret Knife and was looking for advise/recommendations on a good sharpener that would fit in the attached pouch.
Thanks for any assistance.

Mac

Have a EZ Lap double sided diamond sharpener in my pouch. Course on one side and fine on the other.

Don G,
I took my Green Beret out on one sniper course so far, and other than having to dig a small indentation in the ground to level the bipod, it didn't need to leave the sheath.
It is a little pricey. But I figured the boys from Bragg will probably put it through a lot more abuse than I ever will. And if they're happy with it, it will probably be the last knife I have to buy....Until the next one of course!
By the way. Love Fayetteville during ALL-AMERICAN week

My best wishes and prayers to you guys. You don't know how proud it makes me to know you guys are my brothers. I live in Raleigh and, try to get to Fayetteville every now and then for a military or air show. It's a great place full of great people.

The 7" and the 5.5" both have there pros and cons depending on what you're looking for. I'm happy with the 7" blade.

If you come across any other guys who already have one and find out what they use for a sharpener, I would appreciate it if you passed the info on.

I was on a different course in Virginia with a couple guys from SWC and they invited me down to Bragg, it was a good time.

Don G,

I'm Canadian Law Enforcement and had the opportunity in '03 to attend the HK school in Virginia, along with a few other schools along the East Coast. All highly recommended.

Mac
