I made up some more Green Canvas Micarta slabs for my favorites. Man, do they feel good in the hand.

I like the looks of the Busse scales, but the patterns in that canvas micarta are great!

Awesome! I really LOVE the looks of these scales. I wish they were available from Busse Combat - especially for my planned double cut Tank Buster. The DC SAR looks AMAZING with those slabs :thumbup::thumbup:
One question -did you glue them to the blades?

That green micarta looks killer!

You are going to have to go into the mod business. :D Can you hit those scales with a media blast?

Thanks, guys!

No glue - just the tubes. The tube diameter I use, together with that of the holes drilled in the handles and those I drill in the slabs, require a press to fit them. There is no play whatsoever and those handles sit really tight on the blade. I also use tubes with a wall thickness greater than that used by the shop.

I will try this sometime - my blast cabinet is put up right now. I suspect it will make the slabs somewhat grippier, but still smooth enough not to raise blisters.

Awesome job on these... that green canvas is killer!

Thanks for the pics!
