Green Micarta

So for St Pats day GREEN :D

I got some dark green rit dye added a little dark brown and dyed some micarta.

I really have the itch to dye some Becker micarta green, but was hoping for something a little lighter than this. (Don't get me wrong, if it came out exactly like yours I wouldn't be disappointed one iota)
So if I want a little lighter, more of an OD, would I use just the dark green dye and skip adding the dark brown? Maybe dark green and just a little yellow?
I'd like it to come out maybe halfway between these two:

To get a lighter color, reduce the dye time. Maybe put them in for 1-2 minutes at a time, until the material looks to be where you want it.

Makes sense. You can make it darker later, can't make it lighter later. At least not without sanding...
