Green Para2's are back

Well...gotta say, I got mine today and I am FAR from impressed. The F&F is not near that of my regular satin PM2. Blade opens stiff, and the blade is not centered. At least there is no blade play. Not keeping this one. Blue domino here I come.

*edit, I'm not going to say it is also dull but it is by far the least sharp of any Spyderco I've ever received.

Bummer man. Mine came sharper than any production knife I have had out of the box.

Centered perfectly. But then that's mass production for you.

Mine is the best example of a PM2 of the 6 I've received so far. Maybe a little tight but that's to be expected.

Mine was perfect, but last month I received two PM2s that were at least as bad as yours. :(

Same here! I was really impressed with this one compared to my three other regular production models.

So all it needs a pivot adjustment and a blast on the Sharpmaker!?!?

I'll take it!

Mine came in today. I would rank it right up there with the best out of Golden in the knife box. Really nice piece. F&F is just about perfect on mine. Blade centered. Finish on the blade flats is just about on par with what comes out of Taiwan, which is as close to perfect as you are going to get with a production knife. Like the color. I haven't gotten the rhino horn little temp out of the box, but the scales look like an identical match in color to the Para. Blade just a bit stiff, but its already starting to smooth out. Very satisfied. Thanks very much to Sal and the folks at Spyderco as well as the gals at KW.

Mine also arrived today and it is a fine specimen. A little stiff as others have noted, but that is perfectly acceptable to me. Thanks Spyderco and Knifeworks.

I hope you dudes are going to actually carry and use these beauties. I certainly know I am. I'm excited!

Mine's going into rotation but with 50 or so Spydie users it might be a while before it actually gets used. I always put my new ones at the bottom of the order to let the novelty wear off. Then I'll decide what I want to do with it. This is going to be tough though, just did an adjustment and a drop of nano oil and it works better than any PM2 I own. Looks spiffy too.

I hear ya. I have to consciously make sure that my knives get pocket time. I love them all, but it's hard sometimes.

Got mine in today. Seems like a perfect specimen! I can't find anything to complain about, no matter how nitpicky I am. Thanks Spyderdco and knifeworks!!!

Just got mine today. Adjusted the pivot and she is GOLDEN now...ready for the rotation.

When I called today I was in limbo but was told that the card was charged already when I asked if the charge would happen when the knife shipped. Probably just getting my hopes up.

I got in on this shipment, got mine today. Now I own a Benchmade 940 the green para2 and a dig camo dlc para 2 within 5 weeks I believe. I can tell this new hobby may get expensive. The wife is gonna love this. No complaints about mine so far, but I am also a novice.

Sometimes you just get lucky! I just happened to get a knifeworks email advertising their facebook page. I hate facebook, but I clicked the link. On the fb page was the notice they were back. I figured surely that was old, but clicked to the kw site. In stock! Ordered and received yesterday.

Sweet knife! Now the decision of hold it as backup to my m390 pm2, rotate in with it, or sell it to recover the funds lost from my g26 fund in the impulse buy. Tough one!
