Really great stuff, Bruce. I love the old Russell Green River designs, and this one looks like a great modern interpretation. I'll bet it's a heck of a slicer, too.

Bruce, as a former butcher I know a good butcher knife when I see it, are you forging as it looks like it has scale or your reg. stock removal.
good job man, like the high grind and blade drop for a bit of hilt.

Thanks for the comments. It was fun making something a little different.

Brad this one is stock removal - flat grind up to where the fire scales is near the spine. I don't have a shot of the sheath, this one deserves leather but only got kydex

This one is a Christmas gift that's getting shipped out tomorrow. I'm definatley making one for myself for next hunting season!
