Well I got my knife today and needless to say, it's freaking awesome. I ran back from work when I saw the package at my door and immediatly ripped it open and my jaw just dropped. This thing is sooo nice and it has such a good feel in the hand and it look beautiful. Now I can't wait to get my hands on a RC-3, Izula and SERE. Damn I need money!!!

Here's some quick pics I took as I unwrapped this beauty!

Don't throw the instruction sheet away. Read it. It will save us a lot of time when you email us saying there's a screw missing from the sheath :D

If I had $1 for every call and email I have received about a missing screw.....I must say, I was a happy camper when the instruction sheet started showing up in the bag with the knives.

I had it on my desktop to attach quickly to every question. I'll bet I emailed it out once a day for a while!

We are in the process of making a change and start shipping an extra screw already in the tension hole at the knife edge side of the sheath. You would not believe how many folks email us saying there is a screw missing (they never read the instructions). To make things less complicated on those who don't read instructions (or those from Alabama and Mississippi who just can't read period), we're going to add another screw and that way they will have a spare screw (even though those who don't read the instructions will think the screw in the spine side of the sheath is necessary and not a spare). :D:D

The RC-4 in desert is a nice piece, IMO.

That looks really nice.
I bet the GREEN/ORANGE is going to look great, too. . .HINT HINT :D

Don't forget is guys in FloriDUH. . .we DO have an election coming up, and that's going to tax our descision-making and instruction-following skills to the limit!! :p

Man, I can't wait until my two arrive. Thanks for the pictures!

Jeff the Alabama contingent may not read that well but for the most part they are good folks. I borrowed this bass boat just last week from one of your neighbors!!;);)

Thats not a bass boat thats and ass boat. If yunz were from Pennsylvania youd not that.

From the close-up on the handle, looks like the green mircata has a bit rougher finish than the black. That looks like it would be even more grippy!

Why is there an extra screw in my bag is the sheath broken?:D

Nice lookin knife bro, just ordered mine yesterday cant wait. Awsome color combo.

It should be rougher, since its canvas micarta; whereas, the grey micarta on the black bladed models is linen micarta, which is inherently smoother, than canvas.

Other than the obvious (color) is the any difference between the finish on the desert rat than the standard one?

I bet people were thinking, "Why does the knife need an instruction sheet?":D
