I have never been much of a gardener, but I love to live vicariously . Let's see your gardening endeavors big or small, and of course the knives you use therein, whether made by me, or someone else. Thanks!
It was this David the hook really comes in handyWhat's that knife ya got there Martin?
Are you able to over winter those where you live? Six months to get five there‘s always next yearI've put nearly 6 months into these Thai chiles and finally have 5 poking through. There might be a 6th. Only time will tell.

They'd better be spicy.
Yes, they're in a terra cotta pot so I should be able to just stick them inside. The only problem is whether or not my wife will approve. Are you able to over winter those where you live? Six months to get five there‘s always next year
At 70 I'll leave the house in shorts and a t shirt. Complaining about the heat70°F to people who live where pineapples grow is considered cold.
Good thing it's Magnacut, otherwise way too obsolete for work like that!some of my pineapples from this summers crop and Buck 110 I had with me to cut them loose. all my David Mary knives other than a couple daggers are big knives.....but I'll use one to chop down my sugar cane end of next month or so or before end of the year and a freeze comes along....if one does.....hopefully not...I dislike the cold.

sometimes in the winter we get a overnight freeze meaning what it is literally 32f / 0c. cane has to be cut down and harvested before a freeze. sometimes cane is ready end of October sometimes December. it rarely gets that cold even for a night here, but has happened before. although doesn't matter as this morning I saw those pesky raccoons pulled all my stalks down. so most of the crop is ruined for this year. it's gonna be "seed" now for next year's crop. I'll bury it this weekend for next year.Let me get this straight Mr. Monkey: You can grow pineapples, and yet it gets "cold" there. Something seems off.

they are the worst. bears stink too, as they eat every pineapple in one sitting. least they aren't wasteful. they eat everything but the top and skin. raccoons take a few bites and leave it.Pesky trash panda bandits!
