Hi fellas:
This was a custom order that didn't work out so I'm offering it below the typical $400 I usually charge for this knife in this steel. The stock is just under 1/4 inch, measuring .210" at the top of the spine. The 9" blade makes it a bit forward heavy with the neutral balance point 1" in front of the solder joint. The right hand dangler sheath holds the knife securely yet allows for an easy draw.....the loop is sized to fit up to a 2" belt. Extra care has been applied to the handle surfaces to remove hot spots and the top of the spine is slightly crested. I recommended CPM S-3V for the steel - my favorite for a chopper - the vanadium carbides in CPM S-3V hold an edge extremely well, the knife is highly abrasion resistant and is corrosion resistant. The 250 grit hand rubbed satin blade finish will easily allow the user to keep this knife looking like new, no matter how hard the use is. Superb fit and finish. The first "I'll take it" gets it. $375 plus $15 shipping. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com and I accept USPS money orders.
