Frankly, I think you're pathetic. Please don't pick up this knife from usps so It'll get returned to me and I'll give you a full refund. I have traded, sold, bought many knives and I've never met anyone as unpatient as you are. Now you're comming here and screwing my reputation because I've sent the knife 2 days late of which you "were" informed as I did sent you email. It so happened that I wasnt able to use Ups, and it went out by usps. Comming on here and giving me bad feedback for something like that is ridiculous.
 
you never told me anything. every aspect of the negative comments are based on what happened. i guess calling me pathetic is not an insult either eh?

i put the links on this thread, and added the "for me at least" specifically so that others could see what happened and make up their mind for themselves. say what you want about me, the problem in this deal was all about your actions and your attitude.

If you note, the one beside the F/S thread is me asking other formites the correct course of action. note that I admitted my lack of experience with such transactions and tried to give you the benefit of the doubt throughout that thread as well. I even kept you name out of it until you insulted me specifically just incase there were situations beyond your control.

Your accusations are completely without merit. I would have never reacted if you would had told you were changing the agreement or offered a simple apology instead of being rude.
 
You both seem to be nice people that just rubbed each other the wrong way.I can tell you from personal experience that e-mails are not alway's reliable.I have not gotten some and some I never got or went to the spam folder only to find day's later.I alway's try to get someone's items mailed out the same day I get payment or the next day.Let's face it though,that isn't alway's possible with life's various reasons.It should be communicated though,and phone number exchanging isn't a bad idea.

It is best not to get bent out of shape or name call in a dispute,as it only makes matter's worse.I hate to see two members that have been around awhile get into an argument like this over a different carrier or a couple day late shipping.I know my UPS shipping counter has limited hours and are sometimes difficult to deal with certain items.Changing the terms of shipping should be discussed first,especially when someone requests a certain carrier,and you agree.
I like USPS myself,but some may have a problem with time of day deliveries.Usually they leave a slip and you can request holding at Post Office,where you can personally pick-up at your convience.

This whole thing is a shame,cause I'm sure it could have been resolved without getting to this point.Good Luck to you both.
 
Anewguy, if you are as dissatisfied as you sound, greens has offered you a full refund if you refuse it and send the knife back. That is pretty square in my book.

Sounds to me like there was some miscommunication and a bit of over reaction, too bad.
 
I’ll accept the charge of over reacting to his insults, seeing as it has come now from two different people. again, this was my first interaction w/ this forum’s exchange (not first knife private party deal however), and I felt I was getting taken. Seeing as a few have written to say that my experience, though not the best, was still somewhat in the realm of typical I stand corrected and apologize to the forum for my improper part in this issue.

Again, thank you all who kindly responded to my questions (and to tombstone for a very well said an equally sided wrist slap).
 
Got the knife today, usps did not do the sig confirm so it was waiting in the box. Knife was in described condition. If only greens was a considerate individual this would have been a good transaction. I still would not buy from him again, if you don’t mind being disrespected and having plans change without your consent/knowledge, than greens might by your guy.
